We are The Rock Shops on Brighton Pier as well as The Rock People on the web.

We’ve been in the rock industry for over 20 years. One reason why businesses are successful is because of the people within it.

As our shops are on Brighton Pier you can come and see us.

The history of the company began in Brighton many years ago. In 1946 William Duke owned shell fish bars on the front as well as a café under the arches in Madeira Drive. His daughter Irene took over after a successful career. In 1980 John Haslem Married Irene’s daughter Jacquie and began to get involved in the business. A Sea cuisine outlet was acquired in Church Street, Brighton and in 1982 John began to sell rock on the sea front. In 1985 the opportunity arose to become proprietor to all the rock shops on Brighton Pier and has been there ever since.

Today we are the largest rock retailer in the UK.
